Workshop themes for accountable AI.

These research-led themes examine what AI may do, when people must step in and what others need to trust the result. They are used in workshops, executive education and invited teaching.

How the research is taught

Each theme begins with a consequential decision and examines boundaries, accountability and routes for challenge or intervention.

Permission before autonomy

Where AI may advise, decide or act, and what requires human approval.

AI roles and decision rights

How role fit, evidence, disclosure, human handover and recourse work together.

Human judgement and accountability

Where people must remain responsible when AI takes on consequential work.

The material can support a guest lecture, executive education session, workshop or classroom case. It uses published research, public material and purpose-built teaching cases.

The work develops judgement. Any templates or decision maps are learning artefacts created by participants during the session.
